I saw her Sunday -- it was a surprisingly muted performance all around...
Saw the show this past Sunday. I was prepared for all of that craziness -- mid-show standing ovations, palpable nervous excitement and energy, and Lea blowing the roof off the August Wilson. There wasn't even entrance applause! And, I felt that she was holding back and, at some point, realized she was fighting hard to keep going. She was good, but not great -- but as we now know, was coming down with something. That explains why she didn't sing during the cast's curtain call. I gi
