I think we first lost something when they trimmed the show from 3 hours 15 minutes to under 3 hours to avoid paying Overtime costs. That is where some tempo changes started and some cuts from the original were made. I have always really enjoyed the orchestrations in Miss Saigon especially the brass and percussion. Have heard some comments about the smaller orchestra and poor sound. Have they worked bugs out? How does the orchestra sound? Vibrant and full or tinny?
