Really sad to see this go. A lot to like here.

Fun to see Carole Rothman breathing fire on the way out the door. Weird that a theatre founded by two fierce women would backslide into having just another white guy. No disrespect to Cabnet but I'm sure that a lot of people read the room enough to not even take that interview. Ms. Rothman made it pretty clear that a woman should be running that theater and it's shame that she didn't get input into that.

Well the unnecessary dustup with the musicians union didn't help.It would've been interesting to see this running in split screen with Illinoise. Two musicals based on albums but HLL using a track and Illinoise showing how much more magical it is to use live singers and musicians.

Hope to get back to see this and see the changes!

I can't believe that this is a real conversation. Kritzer. (although the Kelli O'Hara part is a little hilarious. He would try to put her in Porgy and Bess if given the opportunity. Bart, cut the cord, dude.)

Saw this and Emma on my CA trip. MUCH preferred Sunshine. Not perfect yet, but so much heart. And love love love Georgie James!

Wow. As a lover of musical theatre, I too feel compelled to comment. How you could see this show and not realize how good, if not IMPORTANT, Yesnowitz and Abramson, are to the future of this form. Sure, the show is imperfect, but I came away thinking that these two writers were trying to do something, and do it in their own VOICE. And how nice is it to hear young writers with their own distinctive voice nowadays! I worry that every time we marginalize good, really good writers, for not pullin...

Big fan of Don't Quit Your Night Job and now a big fan of this show. Very sweet and very funny! History of War next!!
