The problem is that with something like Disney you need big visuals and big production numbers. And Frozen simply does not have that.

Aladdin was very lacklustre. The Cave Of Wonders was nice and the genie was good and the Jasmine was talented. But the whole show just felt kind of boring and not very well done. The sets and costumes were kind of underdeveloped. Lots of the songs felt like after thoughts. And the direction was sloppy. The book was problematic. I give it a c-In comparison Mary Poppins was an A-Why did Aladdin get a good review from the nyt?
