The set, costumes, and book are not great. it’s serviceable but i don’t think they should bring it until it’s ready. Like aladdin, it’s watered down with eliminating the animal characters, and cutting Pain and Panic. the characters bob and charles are the most unfathomable changes disney has made.
I liked Frozen, they need to work on creating disney magic. Aladdin looks incredibly cheap.

I believe so. We had tickets to the 7:30 pulse on Wednesday Jan 14th however we had Christine and Phantom understudies, Tia and Cooprr who were also fantastic

Went again last night, and there are noticeable changes. The bridge has been cut entirely, along with the act two opener. Jolene now opens act two.

Hi! I was at the first preview and returned this afternoon! They did shave some it down, and the most noticeable changes to me were:
The opening. Preshow the stage looked like Dolly's dressing room but it's now bare. KRC also opened the show first preview with her finale outfit I think. Now, she is dresse

Saw the show last night snd it ran three hours. Obviously, it’s a work in progress but it has a lot of heart. KRC really surprised me, especially in act two, she sounded just like Dolly. Here’s the song list

I haven’t seen the show yet, but as a fan of the show who watched weekly as it aired, i’m not sure how i feel about the upbeat version of let me be your star. i know it’s part of the plot that its being worked out but its just not satisfying. when we finally get to hear the ballad version, its not even ivy. i think the idea is good but it just doesn’t work for me.
