This is such a great thread! Not sure if someone already said these cause I just skipped to the end of the thread but: I think John C. Reilly's rendition of Mr. Cellophane is better than anyone else's. I hate hate HATE Alan Cumming, especially in Cabaret. Ugh, he is so slimy and unattractive. Phantom of the Opera is incredibly overexposed and ridiculous. Andrew Lloyd Webber writes roughly five melodies per show and rehashes them again and again, which bothers me incessantly. I didn't overhear this, but it's priceless. Woman 1: Did you see Cats? Woman 2: No, what's it about? Woman 1: I'll tell you. There's this one cat, and she's real sick and tired, and the other cats put on a show for her to make her feel better. Then at the end, they put her on a tire and shoot her through the roof. In my opinion, this makes more sense than the actual show.

I love "Small World/Momma's Talking Soft," from Gypsy. I like a lot of cut songs from Gypsy, like, "Mother's Day." "Send a dozen gardenias to your mother..."

I third It's hot up here/it's hot and it's monotonous Whenever anybody says "Oh, everybody loves ______" I always say "Louis" in my head. In a horror movie, if someone says "Something's coming," then I always say "don't know when, but it's soon, etc."
