Jordan, I think you'd like Bonnie's Mrs. Lovett a lot, even though she understandably needs more performances under her belt to land all the laughs and nail the underlying desperation in her two extremely difficult songs (both lyrically and rhythmically). Not surprisingly, she brings a panto/music hall sensibility that totally works for the character - as did Angela back in the day (now there's a delicious irony!), but Bonnie is definitely her own fabulous thing.

Saw the show tonight, and they took an “all hands on deck approach” to covering Lea’s track. It was quite complicated! For “Side by Side,” Beth Leavel joined Bernadette. Jasmine Forsberg did “Loving You,” Kate Jennings Grant did her solos on the “Into the Woods” section, Bonnie Langford did the Mrs. Lovett numbers, Maria Wirries sang “Somewhere,” Joanna Riding performed “Everything’s Coming Up Roses,” Paige Fa

Oh, yeah! In July I caught the 2:00pm matinee of Water for Elephants then ran over to the Lyceum for the 5:00pm Oh, Mary followed by the 8:00pm Illinoise. Enjoyed 'me all!

Hey Mike - I was in the odd-numbered 200's pretty close to where you were. Guess we should count ourselves lucky that we chose the right performance, no? As an out-of-towner I won't have a chance to see it again.

I don't have any info on Daunno's vacation schedule, but I saw today's matinee and he was most definitely in.

Does anyone when "Kiss Me Kate" starts performances? The Roundabout website just states "Spring 2019" and I'm hoping to plan a visit to NYC that coincides with dates for "To Kill a Mockingbird." Thanks!
