Chicago dialogue question
On the OBCR of Chicago, does anyone know what Velma is saying during the first drum break in "I Can't Do It Alone"?
Evita Question
Thank you!!! Although now I have to go eat some humble pie.
Evita Question
A mannequin? I don't remember that at all. My friend claimed that Che sang "you let down your people Evita" to an actress in the coffin. Not sure how we got on the topic. There was wine involved.
Evita Question
Thank you. She said she saw the tour and there was. I disagreed. I will now go gloat.
Evita Question
In the original Broadway production of Evita, was there an actress in a coffin during the opening number? Fighting with a friend over this one and can't find anything on YouTube.
There is always LITTLE ME...
Thank you for this! I love LITTLE ME and these pictures are a treasure.
MY FAIR LADY (2018) Previews
Ah! That explains it! Thanks for the insight, PoisonIvy...I don't know the show well enough to pinpoint what went wrong, but I was pretty positive she doesn't say "Help!" out of the blue.
MY FAIR LADY (2018) Previews
For those who were there at the matinee yesterday, did Lauren go up on her lines during the Ascot scene? There was a long pause and then she said, "Help!" There was another pause and it sounded like someone offstage was feeding her the line. Another pause and then what seemed like some convoluted dialogue before they got back on track.
I have to say I was completely won over by the production and the entire cast. And I have to say I thought Lauren was a revelation.&nbs
I'm the WOOOOOMAN...OF. THE. YEEEEEEAAAR!!!
Does anyone remember the set design for the song "It Isn't Working"? I saw a tour of the show a million years ago and just came across the souvenier program. In it, there is a picture of that song and there are skyscrapers hanging upstage. But instead of the buildings reaching all the way to the ground, they turn into swaths of fabric. Was this just a way to cut costs for the tour? Or was this the design on Broadway as well?
