As always I am glad to see what responses I get when I decide to post here.
Roseluvsrent, I think having seen this as well as many more shows all over the country I can tell the difference between a movie and a live musical. I was simply posting my thoughts. I know people have moments but this is a pet peeve for me. As far as you thinking she is the best Mimi, I am glad you enjoyed her. Everyone is entitled to his or her opinions. As a former "renthead" seeing Rent again after 6 years, last nights performance was like coming home. I ran into people I had meet in 1999 rushing and had not seen since. People can say all they want to about this show and about "rentheads" but you know for the most part I have had nothing but good experiences with this show and with the "rentheads".
I appreciate the previous entry about Lexi Lawson and her Mimi but I have to disagree. I was lucky enough to catch the OBC as well as the

Not workshops but I saw Ragtime in Toronto 3 times before LA or Broadway. Also had the great fortune to see Fosse pre Broadway in Toronto as well with Gwen Verdon and Ann Reinking sitting 3 rows in front of me. It was a hellova good time. I think thats all tho.

Wow this question really hurts my brain. lol. I would have to guess that my first time going it alone at a show would be The Life. My mother was supposed to go with me but, she ended up going to see something else with my dad. I remeber getting a really crappy seat in the rear but as I waited for the show to begin me and others up in the heavens were asked to move down. I ended up 8th row center on the isle. I had a blast, and sometimes going it alone can really be great.

Not that you care Eris0303 but....I am a VERY sarcastic person. Not that anyone can tell via text on a message board the WOOOO HOOO was sarcastic. My best friend works at the Disney Store in the Walden Galleria Mall in Buffalo Ny and she as well is out of a job. I in no way am pleased that my friend is out of a job or you for that matter. Good Luck with the job hunt.

I really loved it in the past.....ever since The Childrens Place took over a few years back it just has not been the same. :o( what got me the most was the fact that all those animatronic (or however you say it) displays were destroyed. I actually sent a letter to The Childrens Place to try to get the displays from the Local store sent to a local childrens hospital instead of being destroyed....BUT I recieved no response BIG SUPRISE and they were crushed and sent away.

Yes but they actually are downsizing. At least the actual "Disney Store" franchise. Most stores around me are either closed or in the process of closing WOOO HOOOOO

AWWWWWWW....now im kinda homesick...sooooo many memories at that theatre....thanks for posting the pics guys.....again some of my fist experiences in theatre happend there....its where I met Chita for the first time when Spiderwoman tour was there..she was in the audience lol...thanks again

Henry Miller's Theatre - Urinetown.....got a full tour of backstage and dressing rooms....sad thing is I was sooo tired from the drive to NYC I can't really remember much....Jenn Cody rocks my socks lol. ps what a dump it was lol
