Me - The Drowsy Chaperone tour and Spelling Bee.
My daughters' dance recitals.
Once, Cheyenne Jackson invited me backstage at Xanadu.
Oh, wait. That was just a dream.
Sadly none also. I have always been a little envious while waiting at the stage door when I see people being escorted backstage.

Being the son of a former Bob Fosse/Michael Bennett/Ron Fields dancer plus having several friends working on-and-off in Broadway shows... I've lost count.
The 24 Hour Plays at the Old Vic in London in 2005. Quite an adventure!
I've been backstage at Phantom (Majestic), The Woman in White (Marquis) and The Pirate Queen (Hilton).
Phantom (Majestic and the US Tour in Columbus) and Avenue Q
Hairspray (when it first opened) and Mamma Mia!
SpamAlot (Shubert), Curtains (Hirschfeld), The Wedding Singer (Hirschfeld), South Pacific (Beaumont), and the My Fair Lady tour (the Opera House- Boston).
The Phantom of the Opera
Lestat
Company (5th Avenue in Seattle)
All but one time thanks to Hugh Panaro.
Legally Blonde! I went backstage with Tiffany Engen because she was my friend's tap teacher. It was amazing! The cast is so nice!
TheActr97J, how'd you get backstage to all of those shows???
Got to go backstage after Spring Awakening through a friend who has connections to the cast. It was a pretty cool experience to see/meet a bunch of people, although that space is craamped.
I asked people who worked for the show. If you ask actors, they'll say "No, for insurance reasons" The one time I got turned down by a worker was at Wedding Singer when the stage manager was standing outside and said"No, due to it's the second preview and everything is very chaotic."

I've never been backstage for anything professional at all. When I did see the stage door to the Shubert though, I was thinking how easy it might have been to sneak in. LOL! I figured those would be guarded from the outside, but I guess I was wrong, unless it's after the show.
Henry Miller's Theatre - Urinetown.....got a full tour of backstage and dressing rooms....sad thing is I was sooo tired from the drive to NYC I can't really remember much....Jenn Cody rocks my socks lol. ps what a dump it was lol
You wanna see a dump, look at The Briar Street Theatre.
Annie Get Your Gun w/ Cheryl Ladd, Victor/Victoria with Julie, La Cage revival all at the Marquis. Mamma Mia, with the original cast at the Winter Garden.
A portion of Patti LuPone's dressing room at the St. James Theatre. You can see the white barred windows (that overlook 44th Street) in the mirror reflection and the painting was a gift from Erik Preminger -- it belonged to his mom, Gypsy Rose Lee:
NOTE: this dressing room originally was 2 separate dressing rooms. A wall was removed.

Damn Brody Fosse is that really Patti's dressing room? That's bigger/nicer than most of the apartments I've been to. Not to mention, way nicer than any dressing room I've ever had.
