Sierra Boggess, a 2000 graduate of George Washington High School, has been offered the role of Ariel in "The Little Mermaid," set to debut in July at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House in preparation for its Broadway run that opens for previews in November.

so i'm confused. i went back and looked at the original story and it says it was a back injury ... and it seems the consensus on this board now is that steph WAS injured while on a broom trying out a special effect that they then scrapped because she got hurt. so what was the part of the story that was wrong again?
