John Treacy Egan, LOVE HIM! So happy for him. He gave me and my friend a backstage tour of The Producers after one of his performances. Couldn't be happier.

It's great to see they assembled such a talented company.
Anyone else hoping Heidi Blickenstaff will be covering Ursula?

Wasn't Cicily Daniels in All Shook Up in the ensemble on Bway?
Because if thats who I am thinking of, I love her.
She was so sweet after the show the second time I saw it on Bway

re: 'little mermaid' ensemble announced #9
Posted: 4/9/07 at 5:31pmHallelujah! I'd much rather see her than SRS.
re: 'little mermaid' ensemble announced #10
Posted: 4/9/07 at 5:34pmAlan Mingo Jr! I saw him play Seaweed when Hairspray came here, he was an understudy and he was really good.

Posted: 4/9/07 at 5:37pmOh, that's why his name looked so framilure. He was a wonderful Seaweed!

Glad to get confirmation on Heidi understudying Urusla, jg. She should be quite fierce in that role.
I know Chelsea Stocke is covering Ariel.

Playbill.com says that Heidi Blickenstaff will play Carlotta and John Treacy Egan will play Louis. I'm assuming Louis is the chef but who is Carlotta?

I've seen Jason Snow as a swing in almost every show I've ever seen.
What has Kay Trinidad done? She sounds so familiar.
Edit: She was in Bare: A Pop Opera. Now I remember.

Posted: 4/9/07 at 7:13pmI believe Merwin Foard is covering Norm Lewis and Cicily Daniels is covering SRS (perhaps 2 covers for Ursula?).

TenThousandThings, most shows have two covers for each principle role. Both Blickenstaff and Daniels understudying Ursula wouldn't be a suprise (and would actually be expected.)
EDIT: Carlotta is Prince Eric's maid, no?
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.
re: 'little mermaid' ensemble announced #22
Posted: 4/9/07 at 7:22pmCarlotta is the woman who does the laundry (almost suffocates Sebastian in one scene whens he wrings out a shirt), one of the employees for Prince Eric. She helps Ariel out while she's staying at Eric's castle.
re: 'little mermaid' ensemble announced #23
Posted: 4/9/07 at 7:22pmYes, thats correct... Carlotta is the maid
re: 'little mermaid' ensemble announced #24
Posted: 4/9/07 at 7:27pmI saw Merwin Foard perform in "Joseph...." as Pharoah at North Carolina Theatre! He was awesome and a highlight of the show! Then he came to a theatre camp I was in and talked to us. He was so cool. Glad to see him in this!
