Dolly! The Musical coming to Broadway 2026?

She reminds them too much of Laura Osnes, who they still hate despite being proved right about the vaccines.

We already fixed it; we can't stop you from doing your own remix of the show's PD material, but we can strongly suggest you just license the rev

Why this show in particular? Why not any and all shows? The longer people keep thinking of everything racially, the longer those same people will keep trying to “stamp out racism”.

And the dog keeps chasing its tail.

Yes unions (and there are so many, involved in basically every part of production except for casting)!are a massive part of it but also the marketi

Immersive AMERICAN PSYCHO Premiering 2025 In Brooklyn?

Here I was thinking the Brooklyn production was the Almeida transfer, but the article doesn’t reference Almeida.

Within the first ten minutes on Broadway, I thought “this should be in a warehouse or club”. So the Brooklyn idea seems to be leaning that way a bit, I guess.

City Center’s 2026 Gala Production: IN THE HEIGHTS

Yes but that’s regional theatre for regional audiences. And every revival of Gypsy was presented with less time between than this In The Heights will be compared with the original production. We’re also getting a La Cage on a similar frequency

Just like every other Encores production from the last 10 years that as soon as it's announced just has to be with a Broadway transfer in mind? You do know that sometimes shows at non-Broadway theatres are simply shows at non-Broadway theatres?

Of course I know that. But the show is excellent, positive, and full of a joy that wil

True about Piazza. Hopefully with the recent High Spirits (such that it was) and scripts used in hand, Encores is going back to old times a bit more.

This isn’t under Encores. They could do Dead Outlaw for the Gala if they wanted to.

I saw this at PAC and imo, you want those stage seats to be filled by rushers, folks who LOVE the show and LOVE the cast and give it the energy we had at PAC! someone who is walking into this show for the first time and paid $300 is likely not going to give the energy it needs

Yes Mason was wonderful.

I won’t be surprised if Emma Sofia is nominated. Skimbleshanks was otherworldly.

For Andre playing himself? Or Sidney as Tugger?

Unless the producers are holding back many cheaper seats until the days before a performance to encourage buying of expensive seats, this is looking well sold for the first ten days.

MOULIN ROUGE! Broadway Casting Thread
 Mar 10 2026, 10:08:00 AM

Almost two months made me think Ms Dodemaide had a regional show happening. But if she’s been injured, maybe it’s for a surgery.

Nice for Sarah to add the Broadway role to her resume as first cast. She played it on the tour and then covered on Broadway, now it’s hers for a while.

Has anyone else noticed an increase in “nose breathing” by performers on Broadway?

“What the hell are you talking about. People should be inhaling through their nose and exhaling through their mouth. That's medical science.”

Great please get ready to correct every person you speak to from now on. I guarantee most people don’t inhale via the nose when in casual conversation.

And if we aren’t meant to inhale through the mouth, why is it possible?
