Per a presale email I got this morning, it’s finally coming. Broadhurst Theater, performances begin March 18!

Was there any word or assumptions that the original cast will be joining? I’m curious if Andre de shields will be back
Yippee!! Thrilled this show has an extra (jellicle) life and that more people will have the chance to see it. Looking at the cast list I hope that Shereen Pimentel returns as well, she was one of my favorite performances last time around.

He’s very prominently featured in the announcement trailer so I think it’s safe to say he is.
I’ve heard most of the PAC cast is returning.

Hopefully, BWW gives you credit for this info when they do their press release later.
Cast list included in this article. Looks like most, if not all the originals are back. https://www.newyorktheatreguide.com/theatre-news/news/cats-the-jellicle-ball-sets-broadway-venue-dates-and-cast-including-andre-de-shields
Guess we will know the stage set up when the tickets go on sale?
The full press release from OMDKC has initial casting info:
”Reprising their roles from the Off-Broadway production, the cast of CATS: The Jellicle Ball will include Tony Award® and Grammy Award® winner André De Shields as ‘Old Deuteronomy,’ Jonathan Burke as ‘Mungojerrie,’ Baby Byrne as ‘Victoria,’ Tara Lashan Clinkscales, Sydney James Harcourt as ‘Rum Tum Tugger,’ Dava Huesca as ‘Rumpleteazer,’ Dudney Joseph Jr. as ‘Munkustrap,’ Junior LaBeija as ‘Gus,’ Robert “Silk” Mason as ‘Magical Mister Mistoffelees,’ “Tempress” Chasity Moore as ‘Grizabella,’ Primo Thee Ballerino as ‘Tumblebrutus,’ Xavier Reyes as ‘Jennyanydots,’ Nora Schell as ‘Bustopher Jones,’ Bebe Nicole Simpson as ‘Demeter,’ Emma Sofia as ‘Cassandra’/’Skimbleshanks,’ Garnet Williams as ‘Bombalurina,’ and Teddy Wilson, Jr. as ‘Sillabub.’ Additional casting will be announced.”
Notably missing is Antwayn Hopper as Macavity, which isn’t super surprising.

I would say it is, when he left he was quite open on Insta that he would absolutely be back.
Macavity and Jellylorum are the only two “principals” not cast.
I don’t know if Antwayn is returning. He alluded to me that he might, but he also has his quite lucrative TV gig that will likely conflict.
For Jellylorum, maybe Shereen Pimentel is coming back, or maybe Jenny Mollet may jump back in after Ragtime.
But to see so many of them make their Broadway debuts here, especially Dudney, Silk, Junior, and Primo (all prolific ballroom performers), makes me SOOOOOOO happy
What is the name of the fabulous performer in front here? If she's not in the cast I will be disappointed.
ETA: I believe that's Dava Huesca, and it's great to see she's listed to return.
The front three are (in order) Primo, Dava Huesca, and Baby Byrne.
And yes, they all absolutely EAT. Primo can do some really crazy s#!+ with his body and if you want a preview, he’s in Saturday Church right now
N’yomi Allure Stewart from Prince F***** is also on board now as associate director!!!

I know I've decried Live Cast Recordings as cheap, but I feel this will be an instance where it would be a benefit.
I really hope ALW has loosened up and is allowing new orchestrations for the transfer.

I hope DJ Capital Kaos stays on because the incidental music during the ballroom categories were absolute fire.

He's been going through some health issues resulting in partial amputation of his foot so I'm not sure. He did post the announcement on my Insta tho so fingers crossed he's healed up.

Absolutely could not be more thrilled this is transferring. For my money, THIS was the ALW revival worth championing and I'm so excited to see it again. An excellent company of actors and thrilling and well-executed concept. Can't wait

Let's not forget Baby Byrne, Tara Lashan Clinkscales, Dave Huesca, Dudney Joseph Jr., Junior Labeija, Tempress, Xavier Reyes, Garnett Williams, and Teddy Wilson Jr. are also making their Broadway debuts as well so that's a large majority of the cast so far
I'm really glad they're retaining nearly all of the PAC cast. They're one of the most electric and thoroughly endearing ensemble casts I've ever seen.
I love that Baby Byrne is such a theatre girlie. She’s apparently been auditioning for Broadway for quite some time, and she’s even a Giry/Carlotta cover in Masquerade according to her Cats bio. She was a major standout in the ensemble at PAC.
