There’s a rumor floating around TikTok that Skylar Astin could be replacing Tveit.

Skylar is working on a pilot with Marcia Gay Harden right now, I suppose it would be finished in time, but who knows if he can sign for an extended period.

I’d be curious to see Jeremy Jordan or styler Astin or Corey Cott in the role of Christian
for Satine - heather headley, Phillipa Soo

Would love to see someone as Christian who could really take the ACTING up to the next level. Maybe Isaac Powell? His performance in West Side Story was fantastic.

I wonder is Ashley Loren will be cast as Satine. She has covered for Natalie Mendoza quite a lot.
So happy I got to see the original cast.

Well... this is something I never thought of before but now I want nothing more.
I would love to see Ashley Loren move up into Satine full time. She plays it mostly full time anyway, but she's been with the show since the start as well so who knows if she'd want to sign on for even longer then whatever her current contract is. She's just so good in the part. It's a shame they will likely want a "name" for the role when she's a perfect fit for it.

I wonder if Natalie is exiting the role on her own terms or if she was let go.

I hope we get an actress of the right age to play Satine—meaning 40 and up. Karen Olivo was 43 when the show opened, the same age Natalie is now. The role is written to be an older woman who spent decades in the slums and worked her way up to become the Sparkling Diamond. She has to be a little world-weary and experienced. She's not a starry-eyed young woman (which is how I've found Ashley Loren to play the role, as talented a vocalist as she is).
I love the idea of actresses like Heather Headley and Patina Miller in the role. I'd even throw Renée Elise Goldsberry into the mix there. I just really hope they take advantage of this fabulous role written for women that aren't in their 20s or early 30s.

I know I'm dreaming, and I've said this before, but I would kill to see Deborah Cox as Satine.

She was contracted through April and chose to extend to May.

Amazing attendance. Funny enough, he announced having to take 2 “contractual personal days” just this week. Dates are 4/9-10 for anyone looking to catch him before he departs.
Seriously considering an unplanned trip to see him, Ricky and Tam one more time myself.

Really weird how much the two main Satines struggled with attendance while Aaron never missed shows unless it was covid related.
