Gavin Creel, Jared Gertner to open Mormon in West End Nov 10 2012, 05:27:42 AM
Oh America, I feel for you. But please keep him! I do not understand what Mark Evans manages to impress with in auditions to keep getting roles, because he doesn't manage to show the same on stage. I really hope they've put a clause in his contract, so when they see him not able to act at all, and he struggles to ever perform a full week because he has lost his voice again, they can cut the transfer to London part. We don't need him ruining another show over here. Seriously, b

Mel C Wants To Play Eva Peron Aug 25 2012, 01:55:32 PM
Being nominated for an Olivier generally means nothing if someone is 'a name'. It basically just comes down to, 'oh you're famous and in a show, here's your nomination.'

Going by the rankings on your list, I'd also recommend Ghost.

Ghost Seating Question Jul 7 2012, 01:19:25 PM
I would definitely recommended the front section of the orchestra, row k at most. If anything the screens are more of a distraction further back. You can really get the full effect of the performances when you're close enough to appreciate their facial expressions.

GHOST Lead vacations Jul 5 2012, 06:29:41 PM
They were given just 2 days off between London and Broadway, I'd be surprised if there wasn't something in their contracts to allow for holiday to make up for that. The move from London to Broadway was very much scheduled as one thing, that's why they had to finish in London on a Thursday. Also, it doesn't matter how well they already knew the parts, I'm fairly certain they couldn't decide to not turn up for rehearsal just because they knew what they were doing! Caissie's on

GHOST new playbill cover Jun 28 2012, 01:55:35 PM
Actually they're models. The girl with Caissie's hair is Lauren Varnham, who is in WWRY in London. I've forgotten the guys name, but he's just a random model. I don't know how it works on Broadway, but in London actors featured on the posters get paid for as long as they are used. I always assumed this played a part in choosing to use randoms who would get only a single payment for the shoot. Obviously something changed, and someone realised this image was crap, since they've now switch

Ghost to close Jun 14 2012, 03:15:29 PM
I'm unsure what the source of vocal issues during Ghost is. Caissie missed only 4 shows over the entire London/Manchester run, and since she used almost her entire holiday allowance for her wedding, she had very long runs with no breaks at all. Her replacement in London has missed a lot more than 4 shows since starting in January. I saw the show for the first time in Manchester and the last show in London, with others in between, and there was no deterioration that I could hear. If anyt
