"The stage is where I live and come alive and act out all the things that go on in my life. It's not just what I do for a living, it's my shrink and my love affair. No one in my life has ever or ever will kiss me on the mouth like this lover called my relationship with my performance."

Too much of a television "rerun" culture.

Revivals are terrific in moderation and in their place. If one is aching for revivials then ache for a show of value or one that has not seen a Broadway stage in a while.

Creativity appears to be waging a losing battle on Broadway.

Yours for original musicals and plays on Broadway!

After reading the seminal book "Not Since Carrie", I must say I am dying to see "The Golden Apple"

And "Carrie".
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

Carrie
With several of the questionable numbers cut, no dancing and the Carrie/Mrs. White relastionship front and center. Maybe do it in a small house Off- Broadway, c'mon those tha thave seen it or know the score back me up, it's time to take Carrie to the prom..again.
