Tony Awards Drinking Game

Every time vampires are mentioned will probably get you sloshed

2026 Tony Awards Performance Predictions (or What Songs They Should and Will Perform)

Fred Mason said: "Ragtime will probably do the end of act 1, no? They’ve already done the opening on GMA, wheels of a dream and back to before have also been done on morning shows."

Doing numbers on previous shows has never stopped them from performing the same numbers at the Tonys

2026 Tony Awards Performance Predictions (or What Songs They Should and Will Perform)

I think Titanique can and should end with making the audience sing My heart will go on.

I want Two Strangers to do American Express but feel like they’ll do New York/This is the place combo

I really hope Ragtime does New Music

SCHMIGADOON! Reviews

For me this is the rare musical where Act 2 is better than act 1. I think what act 1 needs is for Melissa to fully sing earlier. Sara Chase has such an amazing voice and her act 2 reprise is the best moment in the show. If she got an I want song I think the whole show would work better.

Loving You: The Untold Sondheim podcast

I really have enjoyed this angle on Sondheims life. My main complaint being it feels a bit over produced (impressions, audio of “parties”, etc) that I think take away from the authenticity of the podcast

I’m still trying to figure out how everyone at the airline counter knew her song, though. She didn’t seem very famous at that point in the plot.

Right! If you go in thinking it’

Hot take: I liked it more than Lost Boys

SUFFS Proshot Airing May 8 on PBS

Watching this really reminded me how much I hate the set. It’s so bland and boring.

While there’s a lot to like I think the tone is very uneven. Between goofy camp and drama and I don’t think the balance quite works.

I also think the women playing men feels gimmicky and not quite justified. I get wanting the show to be all women but it just becomes a cartoon whenever a man is onstage

Very Early 2026 Tony Winner Predictions

This thread is about Tony award predictions, not what you think should win.

Um, that is a Tony Award prediction. I PREDICT Lost Boys will win the Tony because it is by far the best show of the season. The only other viable option is Schmigad

Great Hallelujah Baby, but why Charlie Brown? wish Darling of the Day?

What about Mandy Gonzalez for Aurora?

She's an incredible singer, and I hope she does many more concerts. She deserved better than this garbage show.

I love her Christmas album

You have Andre de Shields and Sydney Harcourt for CATS (plus whoever else), Bryce Pinkham and Bradley Dean for CHESS, Ali Louis Bourzgui (debatable) for LOST BOYS, and Ben Levi Ross for

THE LOST BOYS Previews

trentsketch said: "I don't disagree about the tone. It feels like Act I is a horror story and Act II is a campy action story. They need more of the campy humor in Act I and another good scare in Act II. There are so many places on that set to hide some of the vampires to show that the threat is real without having to add in more flying sequences or dialogue/music in Act II.

The crowd was loving it this afternoon, but the crowd was filled with Lost Boys the Movie fans w

THE LOST BOYS Previews

I saw it tonight. I would vote for Two Strangers over Lost Boys.

It’s never boring but I think it struggles to land the tone. It feels like it wants campy humor and heart but this production wants to be pretty serious. I feel like I needed to fear for the main characters’ lives and I never felt any of them were in danger of being killed. The design is always interesting. I wish they lit the flying a bit brighter I get they’re trying to mask wires but I f

The Wedding Singer, twenty years later

I was shocked how much I loved it when I saw it at a summer stock a few years back. I went into it really reluctantly

Alladin, Donica, Pinkins & More Complete ENCORES! THE WILD PARTY Cast

I saw it last night. I think it’s an enjoyable evening and very well conceived and directed. This was my first exposure to this version but I knew Lippa’s version. I think this story just doesn’t quite land for me. The characters all seem more like agents of chaos than people making choices. That said in this production I found myself following the ensemble in the background more than the leads.

Plays You Hope Get Revived

It’s still too soon but I want to see Significant Other again

Solea Pfeiffer and Liisi LaFontaine to lead WANTED at the James Earl Jones this fall

I think it’s a shame thy couldn’t get it in this season. With how sparse the season is they could’ve been a front runner for best musical. I really liked it a Papermill and hope they made the right edits to get it to survive the winter

Can we get MAME starring Elaine Hendrix and Lisa Ann Walter now?

BrodyFosse123 said: "The 1966 Broadway musical MAME features several dated plot elements centered on 1920s–1940s social norms. Key dated aspects include the caricature of the butler Ito, the intense focus on social class and "traditional" upbringing, outdated gender roles, and a rushed romantic subplot involving a Southern gentleman.

  • Racial Stereotypes:The character of Ito, Mame’s butler, is often cited as a racially stereotypical depiction o
