re: The Last 5 Years love Oct 13 2006, 12:23:16 AM
aaahh The Last 5 Years. Honestly my absolute favorite show and cast recording. Norbert and Sherie are PERFECT in every sense of the word in this show. I've gotten many of my friends to be obsessed with this show. It is SO hard to pick my favorite song because I actually love all of the songs (which is rare for me), but "If I Didn't Believe in You" is definitely my favorite. Norbert puts so much emotion and intensity into the song on the cast recording. Every time I hear the lyric of "I will not

re: How old were you when you lost your Broadway virginity? Aug 27 2006, 09:32:38 PM
RENT in 2000. I was only 10 years old. My dad was going to get tickets to The Lion King, but apparently they were all sold out so he bought the RENT ones instead. Now I am so extremely happy that he did that because that was what started my whole obsession with broadway! I actually understood pretty much all of the show surprisingly. The things I remember most though were the music(LOVED IT!)and how close we were to the stage (3rd though i think).

wow. This is depressing. When I first saw this, like many others, I gasped really loudy and actually teared up. DRS is my favorite show on broadway and I am extremely upset that it is closing so early. Amazing casts, music, AND show! What a day September 3 will be...

My two favorites have to be Jason Gillman as Freddy in DRS and Tina Maddigan in The Wedding Singer (yeah I know not really original since people have already mentioned them quite a few times, but hey.. they deserve it). Being a huge Norbert fan, I was pretty upset that he was out the first time I was going to see the show, but Jason definitely won me over very quickly! Tina was absolutely wonderful! My sister couldn't believe that she was the stand-by for Julia by the end of the show. I am SO gl

Hey everybody! I am also a newbie to the BWW boards, and as soon as I saw this thread, I knew EXACTLY where I wanted to post. I have become such a big fan of The Wedding Singer since I saw the show last month (7/15 evening show). I instantly fell in love with the music and the oh so wonderful cast! Everybody was in that night but Laura, but I am so glad that I got to see Tina as Julia. The girl definitely did not disappoint! The news about the programs makes me very very happy! Hopeful
