Those reviews are certainly not from top tier critics--especially when it come to dance! And Fosse, nonetheless. At least TheatreMania shed light on the fact that the movement lacked precision and that several dancers didn't have the finesse required for Fosse's distinct vocabulary. The BWW reviewer basically gave a run down of the show and the enthusiastic audience response. Not a word about the craftsmanship or the wit of the shows original creator! Gone are the days when WHIZZERMARVIN would post his succinct, informative reviews. Whether he liked it or not, he hit on all aspects of the show. I miss him.I'm sure there was a revved up crowd last night given all the producers, co-producers, and friends in the house.Look forward to hearing more specifics when others can more cohesively elaborate on the production.

I guess they should have renamed the show, FUNNY GIRL & Co.The voice is fine. I can name 2 dozen Broadway ensemble members with stronger voices.It seems obvious they're relying on her charm and likeability factor more than anything. Vocals aside, If she could put across on stage what Streisand brought to the film, she may have a chance. We shall see.
