Carmen Diaz dies of a drug overdoes when she moves out to LA to be a "big time actress." She overdoes, and eventually dies during the song "In LA" which is towords the very end of Act2. Carmen sings about all her troubles that she faces in LA and talks about drugs, and its assumed she OD's on cocaine or heroine. She doesnt get hit by a train, her heart doesnt stop of anything like that. thank you and goodnight.
