Everyone keeps referring to Sherie Rene Scott as if it would be a nice thing IF she won these awads, but it won't happen. I guess I just don't understand why? I live in a world, an idealistic world I guess, where the Broadway Diva with the stand out, rave review, performance of the season wins the Tony. And what are these comments about her having "no buzz?" I guess I'm just a little curious as to what qualifies as "buzz?"

Personally, I use Brantley's "Little Mermaid" quotes in my every day vocabulary. Do you guys ever go to DidHeLikeIt.com as quick reference to his reviews? I DIE over the little Brantley-Bobble-Head-Esque graphic they use.

I'm so excited to VOTE! at fringe!! I have watched all of the youtube videos and I love love love it all. The cast announcement is so exciting! Diedra Goodwin is flawless in my book, and Kevin Michael Murphy is a-door-bell. this review is absolutely amazing. So smart and well constructed...I feel like he touched on so much of the heart of the show...one of the first times I've ever been like "YES! He GOT it!" about a reviewer/critic. I also Personally enjoyed this quote so very very much: "And Bell, who suggests a daydreamy, wide-eyed, gay Tom Sawyer fantasizing about Broadway stardom as he lolls under a tree in some small town..." in. a. nut. shell.
