re: The Little Mermaid (11/09/2007, Spoilers)

I was in row C of the Mid-Mezz and was fine. I think it might be nicer to see this show from the orchestra to get the full effect of the wave effects but for the 80 dollars I spent I had a perfect view.
The Little Mermaid (11/09/2007, Spoilers)

Let me start out by saying that (like pretty much everyone else in the world) The Little Mermaid is one of my favorite movies of all time. Once I bought my tickets in July, I decided that I wasn't going to look at any reviews/pictures/videos/etc. from Denver or anywhere else. I made sure that no one I knew told me anything about it and steered clear of BWW review threads. In fact, I still haven't read any of them so I apologize if this The only thing I knew about were heelies.

When you

This is a great thing to after getting tickets at the Public for the HAIR concert later that night.
re: Elaine Stritch At Liberty - at Carlyle

So where can you buy tickets to this? Are they on sale yet?
re: Who would you have cast as Edna in HAIRSPRAY?

I agree. John Goodman.
re: GYPSY 2003 Revival Love Thread

I still can't believe how robbed Bernadette was of a TONY for her performance!

re: GYPSY 2003 Revival Love Thread

I totally think Bernadette was superior to Patti. I loved the "backstage" feel to the '03 production. The way the curtain came up on the stage, bare except for the ghost light. A stagehand came across the stage and put the card in its holder and you watched as the stage hands lowered the set into place. I also loved the way throughout the show you would see random stage crew (in costume) in the flies that were onstage.

After seeing the City Centers production I took a listen to the 2003 recording. It reminded me of what an amazing production this was. Who can forget walking into the Shubert and being greeted by that purple striped curtain?! I still get chills thinking about the entire back wall flying up at the end of Rose's Turn. What other memories do you guys have of this production?

re: This is my response to anyone that critizices Charlotte D'Amboise

That's really rude, B3TA. He gets acupuncture and everything.
re: This is my response to anyone that critizices Charlotte D'Amboise

Oh TheActr, you must be an amazing actor! What with your acupuncture and all!
re: This is my response to anyone that critizices Charlotte D'Amboise

Oy vey.
re: This is my response to anyone that critizices Charlotte D'Amboise

Cause everyone met up one say and said "OK, let's go after Charlotte next." You don't think it's odd that a lot of people share one opinion? Does that say something to you?
re: This is my response to anyone that critizices Charlotte D'Amboise

I don't get your point muscle. If someone doesn't like the way she performs the role, you respond by telling them how hard she warmed up?
re: Who'd you like to see....

Leslie Kritzer
re: A Chorus Line Lotto Rigged

Aren't house seats reserved for friends and family of the cast? Why is it necessary for the cast to enter the lotto when they have a set number of seats reserved for them?
re: 'BILLY ELLIOT' to open at the Imperial Theater next summer??

MungoGypsy - Perhaps you have the definitions of speculating and "making things up" confused because no one has ever said anything about 9 to 5 being a limited run.
re: OMIGOD! Look what came in the mail...BIG SPOILER INCLUDED ON MY REVIEW
