Don’t get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed Oh Mary, but it’s every Charles Busch show I’ve ever seen.  There’s nothing new here.  Over the top camp.  It’s fun but the wheel hadn’t been reinvented.

Does anyone know how long Milo Mannheim & Elizabeth Gillies are contracted till?  Going first week of May & would love to see them.

This recording is not dangerous.  It NEEDS to be dangerous. 

did she eat him alive on stage?  This photo exemplifies the problem I have with this production.  It makes no sense.  It’s the emporer’s  new clothes.  Artsy farts pretentiousness.  She’s a powerhouse but she’s not playing Norma Desmond.  I agree, this production is a ‘stunt’.

How could LMM get this so wrong?  The Warriors is a testosterone driven youth angst filled story with needs to told with street music.  This is none of that.  Sorry ladies, no offense intended, but it doesn’t hit the same.  The music is not of the street.  This recording doesn’t have balls.  That’s the problem.

The screenplay is so much better than the book.  The book has a lot of uninteresting backstory. &

The movie had an all-female gang...

I was very excited about this.  But ALL female gangs in NYC just doesn’t make sense.  I find this very disappointing.  It’s just PC BS over reality.  It’s not sexism, it’s just realistic about gangs in The Bronx.  

He was equally as brilliant in The Black Rider. ,Agreed about his Hedwig.  A truly gifted performer!

Whistle Down The Wind - the D.C. tryput was sung gorgeously by Davis Gaines, Irene Malloy and the entire cast.  Yes, it needed work but was a million times better than the unwatchable London production.  NEVER let Hal Prince go!!'  Would be a beautiful recording!

The London Guys & Dolls revival with Jane Krakowski & Ewan McGregor!  Jane was phenomenal  the orchestrations were terrific.

Lestat  the San Francisco version was better than Broadway (not that it takes much)

Eric Whiacre's anamie techno pop opera Paradise Lost:  Shadows & Wings with the original Pasadena cast  the sound was incredible!

He should be Joe Gillis in a Sunset Blvd movie.
