Jeremy Jordan fan here and curious about this one. Just won the lottery for tomorrow, but my time in NYC is limited these days so I'm wondering if there are any speculation as to the quality of this one.Actually, just saw this on LCT's website. Wonder if the show just isn't ready, or some sort of technical or health issue:The Thursday, March 27 performance has been cancelled.All tickets will be refunded or can be exchanged at the point of purchase.

I consider myself to be a fan of outlandish farces. I loved BOEING BOEING and IS HE DEAD? a few years ago, and enjoyed LEND ME A TENOR. However the performance at the Tonys was painful for me to sit through, both live (at the rehearsal) and on TV. Is there a chance that I just didn't get it out of context, or if I didn't find that funny, I won't find the full show enjoyable?

(1) As much as I like Danny Burstein and enjoyed his performance, I doubt it's even remembered come Tony time in 5+ months. He'll be lucky to get a lead nomination, let alone win. I'm going into the city today, and a number of family members and friends have asked me to buy tickets to South Pacific for them for various dates in the fall. (I'll be in the area anyway, and they'd rather not pay the Telecharge fees, which add up fast, and they'd rather have physical tickets than e-tickets.) I know on Telecharge you can't order more than 10 tickets in 7 days. Does the same rule apply at the box office? Do I have to buy the rest of my tickets in a week, or tell my family to ...

In response about getting security for A&A, when Adam Pascal came to my university for a concert in the auditorium, I was a volunteer usher. It was built into his contract that he have an usher manning each set of stairs on the sides up to the stage to prevent people from rushing the stage in the middle of the concert. I think you have better chances just entering for one ticket. Best of luck! I'm pretty sure this isn't true. They just pick them in order regardless of 1 or 2 tickets wanted, then if they have only 1 ticket left the ask the next people drawn people, if they wanted 2, if they're willing to take just 1. That's how I got my Wicked ticket (1 for 6 or so). Entered for 2, they drew about 5 names before someone (I) was willing to step down.

Hairspray's also about an "average" girl (read: unattractive) that will attract a large "average" contingent that lives vicariously through her. Just like Hanna Montana attracts girls who want to be "normal" but also a star, Hairspray allows unattractive girls to think they can be stars. Crude but true. Well, there is a bit of stupidity to pay THAT much ($76). Discounts are EVERYWHERE for the show. So I blame them for that. You say the $15 extra is worth it, but then say you always do the rush? So you go for the $15 seats, not buying them in advance for $29, and it works out for you? Hey, everyone, how ar the views from the back/sides of this theater? Is it small enough that every seat in the house is good? I want to see this soon in case I love it and want to see it again, but reserving now gets a seat in the last row or two going out a couple weeks (at least at the Youth price).
