Drowsy Chaperone for children?

Apr 6, 2006 — 8:59:47 AM

Just wondering if this show is appropriate for kids 10 and 11. They have seen numerous shows. Is the content okay? Thanks for any help.

My wife and I saw the show last week and loved it. It's quirky, funny, and touching. The music is good. Anyone who isn't touched by When She Danced doesn't have a soul. Some of our other favorites are: Wicked, Jane Eyre, Les Mis, Aida, to name a few, just to give anyone an idea of our taste. Inhope this show lasts. I recommend it to anyone.

It played at the Norma Terris theater, a part of the Goodspeed. And I don't think it was horrible at all. But we each have our own taste in life, and respect is important of one's opinions.

I saw the show in Ct. Thought it was good, not great. I think that with some modifications, it would work on broadway. It is certainly better than some of the recent shows that were, and some that still are, there.

Saw In My Life and loved it!

My wife and I saw the show last night. Seeing the reviews we expected it to be horrible. Were we ever pleasantly surprised! We loved the music, the performers were excellent, and the story, while unusual to say the least, was great. Funny, touching, with an interesting metaphysical twist. It would be a shame if this show closes soon. Having seen well over 90 shows, this was one that I will see again soon.
