Have not seen her yet perform her new role as Sophie on Broadway. Anyone seen her?? Is she good? Worth checking out?

Carrie Manolakos would be amazing in that role! She has the energy, the voice and the talent....not to mention she is a fresh face on Broadway. My vote is for Carrie.

Any updates on this bright young star? It is ashame to see her not working...but considering all the shows closing (Title of Show, Legally Blonde, Xanadu, etc) there will be a lot of performers out there looking for work....

That is a negative...her last show with Mama Mia was on Sunday. Sad to say. Allison Case is now the new Sophie. Big shoes to fill. Manolakos has an incredible voice and really connected with the audience. Ok...I need help from all of you Broadway show experts! I am a big fan of Carrie and she blew me away with her performances of Sophie in Mama Mia...anyone know what the future might hold for her? I am hoping she makes it back to Broadway soon. Girl has WAY too much talent not to be on stage. Thanks in advance for all those who respond!

Just writing to see if anyone knows the future of Carrie Manolakos who is currently Sohpie in Mama Mia....will she remain on broadway or go back on tour? She deserves to be on broadway...girl has an amazing voice and she connects with the audience. My wife and I are big fans of hers! Currently being played by Carrie Manolakos, who is doing an amazing job BTW, but does anyone know who is due up to replace her? From what I have heard a new Sophie is due in early September(not sure when though)? Sad to see Carrie go. She has done an amazing job filling in for Carrie Anderson and I believe she deserves to remain with the cast. Hopefully she will be back on Broadway again soon. Thanks in advance for any info!

I have been fortunate enough to see Carrie Manolakos on broadway twice and she is amazing! Her voice is by far one of the strongest in the cast and she brings new energy and depth to the role of Sophie. I HIGHLY recommend everyone seeing her on broadway ASAP! BTW...anyone know how long she is signed on to play the role of Sophie?
