Danielle Brooks' final show

Better than any of the send offs we have seen...the funeral for Stedman Northside. This really is a must see.

The Color Purple closing Jan 8

Flying up to NYC (from Atlanta) in two weeks just to see TCP again with Cynthia.  Turns out I got tickets for  Danielle Brooks and Isaiah Johnson's last performance.  My husband thinks I am crazy to go up just for this show, but it is that amazing.  I love it so much.

First Musical you ever saw?

Phantom of the Opera Los Angeles 1989  My mom took my out of school to go see it.

Where to splurge / what can be seen from the rear?

Is sitting on stage a great place to be if you want to spend the money?

Erivo Missing TCP Performances

I don't know how she even performs after doing long runs.  When I did my first marathon I was DONE the rest of the day after running more than 13 or 14 miles.

Erivo Missing TCP Performances

She performed on her day off, flew somewhere Friday (not sure if it was for a performance) and she is training for the NYC marathon.

Although she is not listed to miss on November 5, I would guess she will not end up performing the night before the marathon

Best Show for an almost 9 year old girl

I think The Color Purple has some great themes that are important for women/girls of any age (female strength and loving yourself ).  There are some adult themes in it, but not sure what the appropriate age would be.

Color Purple Rush?

If someone is planning on rushing Saturday I might have a good ticket for a cheap price.

Color Purple Rush?

Is anyone planning on rushing on Saturday?

Color Purple/Seating Choice

I'm all in !  I'm flying up from Atlanta for the night just to see the show.

Color Purple/Seating Choice

I"m going back to see TCP again so I can see Heather before she leaves.  I previously sat in row C.  This time I have a choice of front row or row D.  It would be great to be up close and personal in the front row, but is TOO close?

Thanks in advance

First time in NYC and need help picking hotels and where to go besides seeing shows.

I stayed at the Marriott Courtyard Central Park and thought it was a good location.  If you have a AAA or Marriott card you can get a room for close to $200 a night.

Hamilton Cancellation Line

There is one premium ticket available directly from venue for tomorrow night.

Hamilton Cancellation Line

If you want to see the show and can afford the resale price just get a ticket now.  I live in Atlanta and will be in NYC this weekend for a half marathon.  I debated whether or not I should spend the money on a resale ticket and in the end I realized it was going to be way cheaper for me to just pay for a resale ticket compared to getting a ticket for a future when it went on sale, pay for another airline ticket and hotel.  I also don't want to spend what little time I have

Hamilton Aisle Seats

A friend of mine was in row C all the way to the left and she said it was fine.

Matilda ticket for Mar 20 at 1 pm

vdirects said: "You paid $260 for Matilda?

"

Yes.  I don't need people on this forum to berate me for paying full value for a ticket. I'm not a seasoned broadway goer that knows all the ways of getting cheap tickets.
