I'm looking for a ballad to sing next Friday that will represent the mood after the election...
Plan A) a prayer-like anthem to celebrate Hillary winning and for healing the country, moving forward...
Plan B) a song to sing if (God-Forbid) Trump wins....
Doesn't have to be a musical theatre song necessarily...
Any ideas?

In a weird way listening to those songs (plus others) has helped me freak out LESS about the elections because it's like someone already put my thoughts into words, with a catchy tune to boot!

A) The Power Of The Dream - the Olympics 96 song. The lyrics are incredibly trite, but no more so than any election slogan. A guilty pleasure, I guess. There's so much strength in all of us, every woman, child, and man - it's the moment that you think you can't, you'll discover that you can!
