broadway sheet music (vocals and piano)

Sep 19, 2004 — 1:11:16 PM

Does anybody know a good website to buy broadway sheet music (with vocal and piano) online? I want to try to find a site where I can order the sheet music and then I can download it directly from that site onto my computer. I don't want to buy it and pay for shipping and wait 20 days for it to come to my house!!!

re: Idina's 'note'

I'm also in defense for that stupid comment "you're only 16 you'll hurt yourself"

i just turned 16 and i can sing that note too... it's not like you're hurting yourself if you can belt or sing it correctly. you have to be taught that, and hopefully she did learn it and not do it incorrectly but otherwise, theres no point in saying you'd hurt yourself singing that way.

re: Elphaba's new performer

Idina's last performance for Wicked is on January 9th 2005. My question was asking who would be the next Elphaba.

yeah, that's what i'm hoping too and that's why I asked that question. Haha... i guess many have high hopes for playing Elphaba

and i'm very SORRYYYY on asking who would REPLACE Idina. Nobody can replace her :)

Elphaba's new performer

Sep 19, 2004 — 10:41:13 AM

Does anybody know who will be replacing Idina for Elphaba starting Jan. 10?

On another note, how long do you think Wicked will be on Broadway?? I'm getting contrasting answers from quite a few people. Many say that the most it'll last would be 10 years, while others say it's too good to stop that soon. Any opinions?

Since you're a big fan of Matt (i'm taking it), his sister was at my birthday party yesterday... and I go to Matt's theater high school for performing arts:) just a lil factoid you may be interested in! his family is uber sweet, and soo is he! Liz Caplan is awesome and i luvvv her!!

re: Just got WICKED karaoke Cd and...

Aug 30, 2004 — 6:53:21 PM

only the SS karaoke CD has the vocal CD. the pocket songs doesn't have the vocals. Also, the difference between the two CDs is that SS has "no one mourns the wicked" and "i'm not that girl"; while the pocketsongs has "dear old shiz" and "i'm not that girl (reprise)".

hope that helps you!! I had my music store order both of them for me because i couldnt choose. Now that i hear the orchestra is better in the Pocketsongs, i'm gonna get that one now!!

thanks!!
