It's Saturday on Memorial Day weekend. It's 8:08 and there are 6 people in line including me and the bf. We got here at 7:45 and there were 3peoplr before us.

We arrived at 6am on saturday. We were second in line. the people before us arrived around 4:30. Another group of two appeared a few minutes after us, and more people started trickling in around 7. They gave out 10 rush tickets each for the matinee and evening performances. I would recommend arriving before 7 if you want to be sure about your seats. The line was pretty long by 10am. Has anyone tried this recently? I want to go this Sunday. Earlier in the summer the line wasn't crazy (5-10people by 9am) but I'm not sure if it's bad now that it is closing soon.

Thank you Tamra. I have never done a cancellation line before. Its good to know that my instincts were correct, and people were abusing the line. They were so casual about it! Net time I will not hesitate to speak up.

I think the front row tickets will always be $10 each.

They definitely have a coat check. Its $1 per item. I had a camping chair which i used to wait in line and left with them.

Success! Thank you guys for all of the advice here. I went on Friday. I was crazy and showed up at 6:30 am with a chair and layers. I was first. The next three people arrived at 9, then 9:30, then 3 respectively. I waited almost 12 hours. Luckily for me, one of the lottery winners forgot their photo ID, so they sold me the last two lottery tickets around 6:20 for $10 each. WOOOHOOO. Worth it! What does EARLY mean to you, to garuntee tickets for week days and weekends? Or is that giving away secrets of the trade?thank you!

I want to get there on a week day. Do they usually give out tickets when the box office opens at 10, or right before the show starts? Like if i get there at 7am in the morning will i likely be waiting all day, or just until 10. Thank you
