Just walked over to Hello, Dolly. There are four people in line and they say, per the box office yesterday, there is standing room.

Where were your seats? How many people were in line when the box office opened? Thank you for posting!

I'm confused. Are you guys hanging out waiting to see if they sell standing room? Surely the performance is sold out, so why would they make you hang out?

There were about 20 people when the box office opened. The seats are extreme orchestra sides. Mine were B14 and 16. Other people in line were further back. It seems further back the better, but mine weren't too bad.
I have a friend who did standing room for Hello, Dolly and were sold two tickets this morning for $47.

We're the people who got the seats further back the people in front of you or in back of you in line?
Looking forward to seeing this and going to try to rush this week. Thank you!

Interesting! I was at the Hello Dolly box office Friday the 17th at 5:30 pm and asked - there was "no" SR as of yet...I guess things change at literally any moment...

Out of curiosity, I stopped by the Nederlander at about 6 pm on Wednesday and asked if they had any rush left and they said yes.

I rushed War Paint this morning. Got there at about 9:10am and was the 5th person in line. By the time the box office opened there were 16 people in line. Everyone got tickets. First person in line 8am.
The seats were far sides Orchestra but I got a tip from the box office to ask for box seats which are full view and ended up with box B to myself on the right. Great view, from about row G. Was able to see Patti and Christine up close, in a private box with tons of legroom for $40. Great deal.
When I stopped by yesterday at 2pm, they still had tons of rush left at that point. They told me just to come right at 10am or 9:45am but I didn't want to risk it so got there early.
Right now, a very easy rush it seems. And I would recommend trying for a box seat. Much nicer than the extreme sides and actually unlike some other theatres, extremely good views, with a maybe 5% obstructed view.

I was there the day before I rushed and asked for tips for rushing. The box office attendant told me to request a box seat and told me they are not partial view. And when I went the following morning she remembered me and said I could either get a far right Orchestra partial view seat or the full view box, so obviously I went with the box. I was also really nice and polite. Maybe that helps?

Rushed today- got to the box office a little after one pm. We got Row D seat 18 and Row A seat 10. Our tickets aren't marked partial view, but I have a feeling they are. How bad are our seats? Lol

Not terrible. I was in Row G on the outside aisle, the only thing I missed was Christine's entrance through the red door. But she came down the stairs seconds later.

I'm trying to see this next Wednesday. Probably won't be able to get to the box office until close to 11. Can anyone with some experience speak to the chances of still getting rush then? Is it worth trying?

How high is the stage? Is front row too close?

Just got back from the show and happy to report that being Front row was awesome. U could not see feet, but being that close to Patti and Christine was incredible. My seat was on the aisle and my head was right next to the speaker so I was treated to Crystal clear sound that was like listening to a cast recording- magical!!
