1984 lottery losers
 Jul 6 2017, 03:24:33 PM

Has anyone taken the offer of $40 seats after losing the 1984 lottery? I was wondering where the seats were located, as it's still a pretty good price.

American Psycho sheet music available

I had a thought that maybe the joke would go over better in London because more people in the UK would get the reference to Brooklyn as opposed to Hoboken? I honestly have no idea how many Londoners know where Hoboken is.

Thanks guys. Guess that's what I get for not watching the Tonys live, haha

In all seriousness, a short sketch of Titus Andromedon auditioning for Hamilton would be gold.

Riedel on HBO developing True Blood the Musical

I remember really liking the music for this show, so if they carried that tone over to a musical it could definitely work for me. Certainly not the worst idea I've heard.

Another Great Comet confusion question
 Jun 23 2016, 07:17:46 AM

What the users before me said was what I as told when I called to buy on stage banquet seating. Since the set is still being constructed they aren't assigning certain seat numbers yet. You pay for a section and later (I think July/August) they will assign seat numbers based on the order of payment. So if you are really worried maybe wait a month or two and see if the option to choose seats appears.

I wish I could be alive to see Hamilton, Or The Making Of The Musical Sensation Of 2015 And All That Followed sweep the Tony Awards in the year 2115

Choosing our next musical

One of the best high school productions I saw was actually Oliver!, with a very small in stature girl playing the role of Oliver. And Fagin is certainly a great comedic role.

I met 2 girls two months ago when I did the cancellation line who have been doing the online lottery every day at work just for fun. They live in CA and have no way of going to NYC in time in case they win but at least they know the unclaimed tickets go to diehard fans on the cancellation line so they are indirectly 'helping' someone.

So they are taking away the chance from someone

Actors who never stage door/sign

American Psycho - if you LIKED it, post here
 Jun 14 2016, 08:40:40 PM

I think At The End Of An Island could have been a good choice. The humor in it might have gotten some viewers interested in seeing the show. Or, to showcase Walker plus the cast, a montage of True Faith into Killing Time.

With a couple edited or cut lines these could be totally appropriate.

Curious if any tickets were sold on Tony Sunday? With so many celebrities in town I thought they might be scarce.

Sorry. I meant aren't there additional fees to include the non original songs like True Faith and In The Air Tonight

But would licensing increase the cost?

I'm hoping beyond hope this comes through and would happily donate to a legitimate crowdfunding campaign. I just can't let Benjamin Walker's performance go.

American Psycho tour?
 Jun 8 2016, 11:57:00 AM

This is a tough one. Even for someone like me who loved the show and saw it multiple times, I can only think of a few people I know who I would bring along with me to see it again. Not sure how appealing it would be. I wonder if they would consider a European tour over a US tour. I hope the chance to see it again comes along soon. Even if it means travelling for me it will be worth it.

I've never seen a touring production of a Broadway show before. Can they normally recreate elemen

I saw the show 4 or 5 times in London and loved it. I had planned a trip to see the broadway version to see the differences, but my trip is booked for the 14th June and im so upset that i wont get to see it now

Thank you for this! Wish could have seen it in a smaller house. Maybe in an off Broadway or London revival someday....

American Psycho scene question (Spoilers)
 Jun 7 2016, 02:57:39 PM

I haven't seen the movie but the orgy scene happens while he is really having sex with the 2 prostitutes. The rest of the people are just staging, though, as he sings about how common pleasures like sex can't excite him anymore. He needs to torture and kill. At least that's how I interpreted it.

American Psycho Broadway vs London cast album question
 Jun 5 2016, 11:17:27 PM

I've been listening to the London cast recording of American Psycho after seeing the brilliant Broadway production twice this weekend, and something struck me. Some lines that I remember as  delivered with a lot of force or emotion in the show sound very flat to me on the album, especially the dialogue. I never had the opportunity to see the London production, but I can't imagine this is how the actors sounded. I remember having a similar reaction too when I listened to the Sprin

I asked the box office workers today. I was told they will sell rush tickets for tomorrow's matinee performance but not for the final evening one.
