Awesome! If anyone actually goes and rushes can they write about it? Confirm that telecharge is accurate?

Got rush tickets this AM for tonights preview. Located far left orchestra. Anyone have insight on how partial view this will be?

I've sat far right in the orchestra for a different production at the Schoenfeld, and the proscenium didn't block very much at all. Just the back corner of the stage.

cannison101: what time did you line up? (I passed by the theater at 7am and there was no one there yet)

It's mentioned on the show's Telecharge page under the offers tab.

Has anyone had experience with the rush lately? I'll be in the city with a friend in two weeks (we're going to a taping of The $100,000 Pyramid) and we may rush or buy in advance depending on how the situation is.

I passed by the theater yesterday morning just before 10 and there weren't very many people waiting. I would say 10-15 at the most

I was able to get a rush ticket 10 minutes before curtain on Tuesday night. Last row of the orchestra, house left. Any rush/lotto that doesn't give me a box seat is a great one to me, haha!

Speaking of the boxes, are they being sold at all? I recall reading that the band is seated in two of them, correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah, the front two boxes on each side have a band member each. But I'm fairly certain I remember seeing people in the open furthest back box on each side.

I rushed last Thursday and arrived around 9:15am and only 3 people were in front of me and no one else arrived after me. I received Row F, the last 2 seats all the way on the right and I have to admit, the view was extremely obstructed. Usually I've never had an issue with partial view, but my friend and I had trouble seeing a lot of things that happened upstage and also a few things on stage left. Luckily, we found 2 unclaimed seats in center orchestra that we were able to move to during intermission, so we were able to see everything in Act 2.

This seems to be the new norm with Rush tickets. I remember it used to be the first row of the Orchestra which was fabulous. Now it's extreme side orchestra or box seats, which I hate. Curious Incident gives those locs, which I have paid between $30-$39 for. They're only OK if you have seen the show before from good seats- then you don't mind what you miss.

My friend and I rushed American Psycho on Saturday morning, April 2, and got to the box office at around 9:00am. We were 15th and 16th in line at that time, and the line grew to probably 40+ people by the time the box office opened at 10:00am. When we got to the window, they had sold out of rush tickets for the evening, so we had to leave and try another show as we already had tickets for the matinee of 1776. The box office attendant did suggest that we could come back later in the day / closer to curtain as they sometimes release more rush seats.

I was also there this Sat April 2. I first tried at about 10:20am and they had no rush seats available for evening, but went back at about 6:15pm and they did. The box office attendant warned me that it was extremely partial view though, all the way on the left and I believe front row. I decided to pass thinking that if the box office staff specifically warns you, the view must be bad! Glad I did based on a previous poster's comment.
Instead, I went to Eclipsed immediately after at 6:20pm and got a great student rush ticket on a center aisle in the back of the orchestra.

I got a rush ticket last night at about 6:15 pm for the 8:00 show. My seat was in the last row of the mezzanine, the second seat in from the aisle. The seat next to me ended up being empty so I was able to stretch out a bit, which was nice since it's a little squished up there. When I bought my ticket it took the person in the box office a few tries to find me a seat, so I think after a certain point they may just be selling what's left as rush.

That post about last Saturday being sold out is getting me worried since next week i am planning on rushing Saturday. What time should i get there? Would 8 am be good or should i go earlier?

8am will be fine, especially on a 2-show day. But frankly, if you want to see it, you will get to see it if it is with morning rush tickets or last-minute released "rush" tickets (which kinda defeats the purpose of rush, but at least gets more people in).

It's also worth noting that a lot of the reason the show has been nearly sold out is because of the $20 tickets they were offering (which I believe tonight was the last performance for). If you look on Telecharge, for performances next week there are tons of seats available still. So not sure if any of those will be sold as rush or not, but it certainly seems likely they may have more available.
