Hadestown's commercial future

Jun 13, 2019 — 5:49:34 PM

I saw it in previews at the last minute. I'm 70 - and loved it. When my 92 year old mother heard I was going, she and her 92 year old friend got tickets and loved it. Is there insurance available for theater tickets?

Nov 29, 2018 — 6:56:08 PM

I noticed when buying tickets to Burn This at the Hudson, that before checkout insurance was offered for around $18 for the two tickets (I think). I realize this is too late for this time, but theaters will give you excellent seats if you are truly visually impaired, at regular prices. My mother has macular degeneration and needs to sit up very close. She does need to pay full price, but the seats are normally premium. They have never asked for proof.

Priscilla Seating at the Palace NY

I sat 1/3 of the way back slightly on the side and the seats were great. I usually like to be up close, but for this show, I think I would have missed alot. The show is in such broad strokes you miss nothing by being a little ways back, and if you are too close, you miss the great staging.
