re: People you know who remind you of broadway characters

well this is a little different but:
My best freind in the entire world is sooooooooooooooooooo much like Kristin Chenoweth. Same Height, Same Build, Same Hair, Same Personality, and I think sings BETTER than Chenoweth. Like Cheno, my friend is an Opera/Musical Theatre gal...and I think everyone better watch out for her...
And you think of all of the things you've seen, and you wish that you could live in between ,and you're back again only different than before... After the Sky. -Into the Woods (Jack)

My best friend is Glinda in a box. Oy.
"The stage is where I live and come alive and act out all the things that go on in my life. It's not just what I do for a living, it's my shrink and my love affair. No one in my life has ever or ever will kiss me on the mouth like this lover called my relationship with my performance."

I have one friend who's very Maureen-ish...she's implusive, and stubborn, and sleeps around (she's straight tho). And I have one guy friend who looks a lot like Mark.
"During this performance, please feel free to let your cell phones and pagers ring willy-nilly. However, do remember that there are heavily-armed knights on stage and you might well be dragged up and impaled." (Pre-curtain announcement at the new Broadway musical Monty Python's Spamalot)

My friends tell me that I remind them of Frank 'N' Furter.

Off-topic, a girl that goes to my school looks A LOT like Paris Hilton. Same hair, height, eyes, face, wardrobe... All that's missing is a chiuaua.

re: People you know who remind you of broadway characters

My sister saw Rent about a month before I did, and she told me I reminded her so much of Mimi from Rent (this was when DRV was still in the role). Now I am not Latina, look nothing like Daphne, not addicted to anything other than nicotine and caffeine, and am not a stripper, So i was just like gee thanks? Then I saw the show and had to listen to her tell me it was more a psychological resembelence. I still don't know if I should be flattered or insulted...

I also have a neighbor who reminds me so much of Curly from Oklahoma...its just a physical thing but I am waiting for him to burst into song one of these days.

My friend is a lot like Mimi from rent...minus the stripper and drug addict.

One time we had a substitute in our history class last year, and people kept saying how he looked like "that guy from Mrs. Doubtfire." They were talking about Harvey Fierstein...the guy didn't really look like Harvey Fierstein.

I doubt they meant Robin Williams, because at least they would've known his name.

re: People you know who remind you of broadway characters

Oh, my Senior year of High School, we had almost every RENT character in Drama!! We had a perfect geeky Mark, a really tall hunky Roger type, and one of my good friends is SUCH a Maureen!! We always had a blast acting out the show.

I've been told on more than one occasion that I remind people of Tracy Turnblad. I don't know if it's just because i'm short and chubby (I have the same body as Marissa) or if it's just that i'm bubbly and happy =)Another time, one of my Drama teachers told me I was "Perfect" for one of the daughters in Fiddler, but she could never remember which one! I wasn't sure if that was a compliment or not...

I know someone who looks exactly like Kristen Chenoworth... with and without glasses. She can also cackle like the 'Wicked Witch'. It's hilarious.

I remind myself of Mimi. Except I'm not a girl and I don't have AIDS. I guess I'm just a drug addict.

But for real, I am a mix between Phillip Sallon, George, and Marilyn from TABOO, except I don't do drag or makeup. Everything else is accurate! i love them
