Who all is going to Broadway Barks on Saturday? Which stars do you hope to see? Will you be adopting a pet or bidding on any of the celebrity merchandise?

Shrek Based on the hugely popular movie of the same name, the Broadway musical Shrek has been sending off audiences with big smiles after each performance. Winner of many theatrical awards this season, the multi-talented cast, including Brian D'Arcy James, Sutton Foster, Christopher Sieber, John Tartaglia, and Daniel Breaker, signed this dog along with at least 20 other members of the cast. His name is Darcy.

Xanadu This small dog from the production of Xanadu that closed last fall is signed by Whoopi Goldberg, Cheyenne Jackson, Curtis Holbrook, Marty Thomas, Patti Murin, and Mary Testa. She's the runt of the litter and waiting to be adopted by a loving new owner. Her name is Whoopi.

Hairspray The original stars of Hairspray, Harvey Fierstein and Marissa Jaret Winokur, signed this dog along with Karen Mason, Tevin Campbell, Charlotte Crossley, Kate Loprest, Kevin Meaney, and a least another dozen members of the cast of this hit Tony-winning show, which closed in early January. A great dog! Her name is Tracy.

Exit the King This boldly signed dog comes from a star-studded cast of Exit the King, which just ended its run in June. Oscar winners Geoffrey Rush and Susan Sarandon join the multi-talented Andrea Martin, Lauren Ambrose, Brian Hutchison, and William Sadler. Now Mr. Rush can add a new shelf to his home for all the awards he has won this theatre season for his performance as King Berenger. Do not "exit" our auction without bidding on this precious pooch. His name is Geoffrey.

We're hoping to add an online bidding option next year. This year, though, everyone should come to Broadway Barks on Saturday to see the stars with all of the sweet adoptable pets and check out the great items available in the silent auction. It promises to be a fun, memorable day again this year! I totally love the Blithe Spirit dog (Madame Barcati), too. The dress, hat, and wig that match Angela Lansbury's costume are absolutely amazing! I'll pass along the name suggestion for the Gypsy dog...

God of Carnage This limited run show's hound has been signed by the entire cast of God of Carnage, including the great James Gandolfini, Hope Davis, Jeff Daniels, and Marcia Gay Harden. Marcia's daughter even added a hand-drawn collar, freckles, and a design to his tail. She named him Carnage! He certainly had a great foster home with these talented actors, but now he is ready for his "forever home."

Speed-the-Plow The hound from this limited run of David Mamet's Speed-the-Plow has been signed by popular Broadway stars Raul Esparza, TV star Elisabeth Moss, Tony winner Norbert Leo Butz, and the great William H. Macy. Original star Jeremy Piven had to leave the cast early, but was replaced by the wonderful Mr. Butz and Mr. Macy through the end of the run. This hound's name is Raul.

The Little Mermaid The Little Mermaid dog is dressed in a spectacular outfit created by Paul Riner. From the top of his hat to the tip of his tail, he is a magical little canine. He is signed by Faith Prince, Drew Seeley, Norm Lewis, Chelsea Morgan Stock, Rogelio Douglas, Jr., and dozens of cast members. The show will be closing at the end of the summer, so this will be your last chance to own a The Little Mermaid original. Don't let this dog be "Beyond your Wildest Dreams." Make him "Part of...

Music in the Air This special run of the Encores series at City Center this winter was a popular hit due to the outstanding cast. The Music in the Air dog has been signed by the great Kristin Chenoweth, David Schramm (from TV's Wings), Douglas Sills (The Scarlet Pimpernel), Tom Robbins, David Berman (Musical Director), and Ryan Silverman (The Phantom of the Opera). Her name is Kristin.

West Side Story This wonderful revival of the 1957 groundbreaking musical West Side Story has cheering audiences on their feet every night at the Palace Theatre. Scott Westervelt in the wardrobe department has added an amazing collar with "Jets" and "Sharks" printed on it with jeweled studs. The same jewels adorn the eyes and nose of the dog, along with a bright pink tongue that was added. If this dog could talk, she would definitely be singing "I Feel Pretty"! 9 to 5 This great new Broadway production has 16 new songs composed by Dolly Parton. The 9 to 5 dog has been signed by stars Allison Janney, Stephanie J. Block, Megan Hilty, Marc Kudisch, Kathy Fitzgerald, Andy Karl, and Dolly Parton, plus the entire Broadway cast. She may have been theirs from 9 to 5 at the theatre, but she is looking for a great new home 24/7. Her name is Dolly.

Blithe Spirit Meet Madame Barcati from Blithe Spirit. She is dressed just like her owner, the magnificent, legendary, five-time Tony Award-winning actress, Angela Lansbury. In addition to being signed by Ms. Lansbury, Madame Barcati is also signed by Rupert Everett, Christine Ebersole, Jayne Atkinson, Deborah Rush, Simon Jones, and Susan Louise O'Connor. Spamalot The popular Tony-winning Spamalot ran for several years on Broadway, ending its run with popular singer Clay Aiken, who signed this dog along with the full cast before the show closed on January 11, 2009. Even though Spamalot has left us, this Hound of Broadway is shouting "I'M NOT DEAD YET!" as he waits for a new home. His name is Monty.

Gypsy Patti LuPone, Boyd Gaines, and Laura Benanti, the three Tony-winning actors in a musical of 2008, signed this dog along with the rest of the cast of Gypsy. Ms. LuPone's performance was touted as one of the greatest theatrical roles ever presented on Broadway. "Everything's Coming up Roses" if you win the bid on this unique dog. Her name is Gypsy.

Wicked The wonderful Wicked dog looks like she should be walking right through Emerald City, giving Toto a run for his money. Signed by Nicole Parker, Alli Mauzey, Kevin Kern, Alex Brightman, Cristy Candler, Timothy Britten Parker, and the other talented cast members of this company, this is a special pooch.
