mine finally came, after I aactually downloaded them from the website yesterday. Sadly the sampler still makes me want to beat my head repeatedly into a brick wall. It just sounds so... atrocious, ludicrous, and overproduced.

I received mine after a performance of "Primo" (which is wonderful, if you haven't seen it buy the DVD). I still have yet to listen to it.

I got the CD in the mail yesterday, but I haven't listened to it. It sounds like it's got train-wreck written all over it...We shall see. Maybe it'll be charming?? Either way, I can't wait!

I'd be so happy if it is a flop of Carrie proportions, it is so fun to be there when something that classic goes down.
Lemons to the audience, slightly spoiled.
It starts on 9/27.

You can dislike shows all you want and bash them all you want, but to HOPE a show closes and is a "flop like Carrie" is a comment that should never be made from someone who calls themself a "theatre fan."

I am a fan of GOOD theatre, I will not ever be a fan of BAD theatre in more than a cursory way.

However what I am actually saying is I hope the show is at least bad enough to be fun or memorable, instead of just sit around for months and be totally uninteresting bad.

You can certainly be a theatre fan and hope a show closes, to think otherwise is total nonesense. I know people will be put out of work ect. That is not a standard that is held in any other job or medium, if people are not producing a product that is desired or quality they move to another job.
