Yes please. I guess youre right! I stayed with my sisters in Queens over this weekend, so I took the E train going to Broadway (50 St. Stop) , so I did not go to that other side ..If did my daytrip (bus from Chinatown/Fund Wah) I woud have taken the V train and came out at Bryant Park stop ... Thanks.. We will appreciate it if you post LYCEUM's marquee.. I knew I was missing something..and oh.. Can someone post the CYMBELINE too (if its up) at the VIVIAN BEAUMONT THEATER at LC?
Edit : Cort's Theater was an exception bec. I had to go there bec. I just have to see Raul's name
Thanks

Posted: 10/22/07 at 9:06amThe 'Is He Dead?' marquee , well its just a box high up on the left, its very small. I saw the Lyceumn last week and its having a lot of pavement work done. I jsut love the outide of that theatre.

Posted: 10/23/07 at 8:59amThere are no marquees at Lincoln Center Theater, unless you count the neon title sign they have in the window.

yeah. like this one (see below) this is when I saw The Coast of Utopia last year ( I mean by that- last season)
for those who cannot come to NYC or from another country.. this is the marquee* for Vivian Beaumont Theater (see below)
* dont know if the technical word for that is marque- more of a window display

Thanks. The only one slightly impressive is YF but I wish they included a picture. Well, just remembered those poor Frankenstein ones put up earlier, maybe this is the better choice?
If they put up that picture though of Sutton and Bart together, that might sell some tickets.
I wish Pygmalion put Dane in costume for their advertisements. Every time I see them, I think, oh goody, Dane is her own Musical! Too bad, the costumes look good.
So far, I think The Ritz, A Bronx Tale and Xandu are some of the best. But YF has the most impressive/London like show.

Posted: 10/23/07 at 7:42pmI think the Xanadu peeps did a fantastic job fancy- ing up the entire exterior of the Helen Hayes. It looks so festive and fun!

I passed the Lunt the other day and saw that the Marquees were up. It made me think of this thread and wished that there were some way I would have been able to take a photo of it.
I still hate the fact that disney closed beauty and the beast which was a great show for something that is gonna be dreck.

Posted: 10/28/07 at 11:06amI love the tastefulness of the Lyceum marquee. It's small and simple. And it's gorgeous. Wish more theaters were like that.
