BobbyBubby...

that is a tasteless and unwarranted joke, and not funny at all.

You should be ashamed of yourself.

That sucks for her. It's a good song. & if she wrote it, then she wrote it. Or wrote part of it, I should say.

Hmm...
When "Accidentally in Love" was nominated two years ago, they listed seven individuals as songwriters. Why weren't four of them disqualified?

The sad truth is she probally just added one small lyric, and she got song-writing credit.

She DID produce the song though, didn't she? I know that has nothing to do with the category though.

If the song is nominated without her, I can't imagine she'd be happy to sing it on the broadcast without being nominated for it.

Does anyone know for sure IF the rules have actually changed? Or is it just possible that the REAL truth about who wrote (or didn't write) "Listen" is coming out now?

Did Beyonce just get a co-writing credit & publishing on the song but not actually do any writing?

That would really suck -- I'm a big supporter of Beyonce, especially right now when it's become so fashionable to HATE ON HER... but I've always been suspect of her actual involvement in this particular song.

If you look at the "Shrek" song, there are only two lyricists named. The rest that were nominated are composers.

The real truth is that she changed a word here or there and didn't contribute jack to that song other than her voice.

And "Love You I Do" fits the story and is a better song than "Listen."

Writes her own material?

Oh please. Look at the credits for her Christmas album where she's credited as the only writer on "Silent Night," which is a traditional Christmas song. Or where she's listed as the lead writer on "Resentment" - a song recorded by two other people before her.
