Great casting. Wonder when Borle is leaving?
Kritzer will be an excellent Bea! Great casting.
Omg love this casting
UGH. LOVE Kritzer. Love her enough to suffer through this show, as a matter of fact!!

I saw Catherine 2 weeks ago and LOVED her as Portia - she was hilarious. I said to my friend I want her to take over for Kate whenever she leaves and what do you know...lol. Can't wait to see her in the role full time!

FINALLY kritzer getting some damn love on the great white way. it is a travesty this woman hasn't been more frequently cast in bigger broadway roles.
This is an exciting new cast, I'd love see the show again with all new casting.
Did we know yet who's replacing Christian Borle?
I have no desire to go back, but happy to see Kritzer as part of the cast. She's incredibly talented, and it's always nice to have her on Broadway.
Kritzer will nail this.
I love Grisetti. Between him and McClure, I'll definitely be going back for a fourth time.
Love this casting, but I kinda feel like McClure and Grisetti should switch parts.
Any Rumors about who will be playing Shakespeare? Celebrity maybe?

I've heard Will Chase's name mentioned, but have no idea of the validity of it. (Although he did play Shakespeare in the workshop...)
I got a rush ticket tonight for the first performance of the new cast. Will report back!

I got to see the original principals two days ago at the Saturday matinee, and I'm really looking forward to seeing what the new cast will do with the roles!
Also, they're live streaming Will Chase's first "Will Power" tonight at 7:45 on the Something Rotten Facebook page!

Is Wills contract only for 3 months? Read something on Twitter yesterday but it's since vanished. If that's the case, do you think the show will end once he leaves or will they find someone for the final 2 months (only currently booking until December 31st ) Also I was told the theatre is supposed to close for refurbishment in Jan.
Do we know how long the other new principle contracts are for?

Ah I knew I'd seen it. Just didn't click on the picture today to see the comment!
So definitely only 3 months then. Interesting....
Does that spell a closing? Or he just has a weirdly short contract?

I'd be surprised to see this closing soon (or even year-end). It seems to be doing fairly well, though I admit I'm not 100% in-tune with the box office numbers and other behind-the-scenes stuff. It wouldn't surprise me if he just has a short contract --- maybe he'd want to be available for other projects? Is something like that often offered to a "star" coming in as a replacement? (I'm thinking along the lines of the various actors who stepped into Hedwig after NPH.)
Edit: Not to say that Will Chase *isn't* a star, but maybe not at the level of other notable replacements. I definitely think he has more crossover/mainstream recognition than other Broadway actors (primarily because of Nashville).
I remember someone saying the show will be transferring to another theatre. I don't know how true that is or where it would go, but if it's still doing well by the end of the year I don't see why not they wouldn't want to continue the run. Also is a three month run short? Especially for a replacement? People in Chicago have 5 week runs and Darren criss had a 3 week run in H2$. Maybe will is going to be on the next season of Nashville.

3 months for a "star" name replacement is pretty normal, but the show hasn't been performing that great in recent months, I just thought that they would've used him up until December, if it was finishing then.
There has been a couple of threads where talk of the show moving elsewhere has been mentioned. I guess only time will tell, but with so many other shows closing, I wouldn't be surprised if this was to close too. (Sadly)

Moving a show to another theatre is extremely expensive. Not sure they would do that pre-recoupment.

Just read Josh Grisetti reply about his contact length on his Twitter timeline. He said he is there until at least Fall, maybe Christmas (then makes a joke about joining the tour and London company)
Maybe they're hoping there will be a spike in the grosses with the new leads and then decide to continue or not?
