I can live without LET'S STEP OUT and HEAVEN HOP, but LET'S MISBEHAVE and especially TAKE ME BACK TO MANHATTAN are great songs.
I'm on Team Sutton, I think she will bring a fresh sound to the score.
I hope I won't get abused for this but, I think Sutton has a true chance for that Tony unless some serious competition jumps out of nowhere, ala Sherie Rene is Everyday Rapture.

Serious competition...you mean like Sherie Renee Scott in Women on the Verge, Patina Miller in Sister Act, and Brooke Shields in Leap of Faith?
One positive this production has going for it is it's spring opening. Although considering it's a Roundabout show, that doesn't really matter.
Excellent point adamgreer, as much as I love Sutton that is some steep competition. Not to mention if SPIDERMAN and LOVE NEVER DIES open. Also H2$ depending on who is playing Rosemary.
An extremely reliable poster on ATC has alluded to Joel Grey having been cast as Moonface Martin.
When Joel Grey had to bow out early of Wicked, wasn't it for health reasons?
So, will this production have the same book as the revised 1987 version?
And Friendship is being kept as a duet?
