Also Michael is really sick, first the gastric flu that turned in viral colitis which is a bastard to have.
"I think this role, or any role that would get Michael Ball back to Broadway is a wonderful idea."
Lord help us keep him on the other side of the pond...amen.

Why?
It's safer for NYers that way. Have you ever seen his army of blue-haired fans in action? The CCBB stage-door should have been padded.

Why do some of you hate Crawford??? I have read some unkind words on here...He is a nice man, hard to work with but nice, just bad luck, with his health.

I like Crawford and I like Ball. I hope Mr Crawford gets well but he has a long journey back. I do not have blue hair so you are sadly misjudging me.
I don't think Ball has quite as large of a blue-hair following in the US as the UK. He's done a concert or two, but he's not as well-known as Crawford or Brightman who have done years of concerts and tours in the US.
They go into debt and ignore their families in order to flock to him...MB is their Mecca.
Sigh, I want Michael Ball back on Broadway despite the craziness of bluehairs:)I SO need to get the DVD of his Donmar show.
Perhaps a few do, but the majority of fans are responsible, great people...and very few of the ones I know have blue hair. I certainly don't. And I don't believe any wish anything but the best for Mr. Crawford - he's a wonderfully gifted and talented man. The last thing I would hate to see happen is a battle of Michael's. They are both respected, talented professionals very capabale of handling the decisions in their lives.

All performers have a few, let us say, out of sync fans. They tarnish all the rest.
