Aiofe and Siobhan were in the bottom two. ALW picked Siobhan to stay. He really likes her you can tell, but frankly I think Connie is the only one left in the competition who could actually sustain the demands of playing a lead in a West End Musical.

I like Siobhan, but she seems really pop-ish for the Maria role.

I think Connie is really the best bet also.

I really hope they release this on DVD in the States. I've been reading the re-caps from the beginning, and I would love to see the actual show.

*falls to floor and throws hands in air in despair*

WHY? WHY MUST WE RUIN BROADWAY BY COMBINING IT WITH REALITY TV??

*sigh*... first bad movies and now reality tv...

Are they really ruining it if the people on the show are talented?

"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

I'm really not that keen on Connie. I think her voice is thin and her movement (I say movement, because unlike Siobhan she has failed to produce a challenging dance piece) is very limited. I do think she will win though because she has short ginger hair and kinda resembles Julie. What a waste! Siobhan's voice is to die for!

Well, Maria doesn't dance, so I'm not sure why they are even making that part of the competition, except to give the contestants something more to do.

Siobhan isn't much of an actress, and I think she's fundamentally wrong for the role, but I wouldn't at all be surprised if she wins Webber's vote.

Its an interesting show to watch. But sort of like a car wreck, you can't help but watch. I am sad about the Irish girl who got kicked off. Webber has no taste. We'll see how long the show lasts, or how long the "leading lady" lasts.

It's getting like a farce now - more "Idol/X Factor" than trying to choose a lead - and more of a personality/beauty contest than who can really get inot the part.

Word on the street is that the "chosen one" will only play a number of times a week - and a fully trained/auditioned and contracted "Maria" is already on board ! (which will make the whole thing a con!)

The only two REAL actresses were Connie and Aiofe - and one of those has gone !

It's good publicity - cheap (or money making as people pay to vore by calling a primary rate line or SMS texting) - and been done before.

No where near the mark that "Musicality" hit . . .

I watched this for the first time tonight and fell in love with Connie. I'm so happy she won. Fosse would have picked her, you could see the light go on: - )
