They sure do seem to want this show on the EXPRESS run.
If you call over 4 years (at the bare minimum) the "express" run

Steve Blachard would be an AMAZING Triton! OMG I never thought of that, but he would be wonderful!

well, they are also having a WIZ of a time with their concept.
hehehe. This is fun.

broadwayguy2, when you said "if only you guys knew what they were doing with this show" (paraphrased), did you mean that in a good way or a bad way?
Broadway Legend Joined: 5/18/03
hell if I know.. but it'll be VERY unexpected and VERY interesting to see how it turns out. It isn't a wholey originally concept, though a very original idea to give the illusion of being in the ocean.
Broadwayguy, your WIZ reference = theatre in the round?
And if so isn't that the same as the theme park version of this show, with the actor's swimming (aka flying) over the audience and stage?

Mistress knows what I refer to.. and god is it fun playing here.
the topic, or BG2's need to press the issue that he is "in the know" ? lol

craig, i'm not trying to press the issue of anything. I'm just laughing because I want to see people's reactions when the concept and all is finally unveiled. I laughed when I first heard.. maybe it will be brilliant. who knows? It is very interesting to say the least.
Thanks for that clarification - which again, pressed the issue :)
There'd be a lot less posts in this thread if that wasn't your intention. Just saying. Nothing particularly "wrong" with it.. but it's not subtle either.
technically everyone whose posted in this topic is suggesting theyre 'in the know' ... and half of them are contradicting each other lol
I, for one, am nervous about the skate shoes.
the question is: with the outdoor tent venue taking up a full block, will the expenses of that alone eat up the budget?

I think Kerry Butler or Sarah Litzsinger would make a great Ariel.
Any thoughts?

Craig, it's just funny watching the speculation.
funny? You have a very curious sense of humor I guess. I guess I find it funny watching your continued need to keep letting people know that you (think you) have inside information. AS in the past, your posts speak for themselves, no need to defend the point. Just a friendly observation.

your posts speak for themselves as well.
it is plainly clear what distaste you have for me.
just a friendly observation.
isn't that a requirement at bww? i know when i joined i had to check off the "finds broadguy2's posts and general aura utterly distasteful" as a requirement before my membership was completed. have they changed that?
Actually, I don't know you well enough to have distaste for you or not. You might be confusing my constructive criticism of what you have WRITTEN as versus an opinion of you AS A PERSON. Two very different things. But many people (not being condescending) have a problem seperating someone criticising an opinion/post/writing versus the individual themselves.
