I feel that theatre is different from every other job. Flipping hamburgers 8 times a week is very different from performing a role live 8 times a week. There are always new things to draw from. Has Spring Awakening Understudy Gerard Canonico gone on yet? If so, what role and how was he?

I was in NY today to see Spring Awakening (got tix for christmas) and the city was really crowded...the most crowded I have ever seen it this time of year. I'm sure TKTS will be packed, but give it a try, you never know! :)

Has anyone seen or heard any of the Spring Awakening understudies performing? And how were they?

I think Kerry Butler or Sarah Litzsinger would make a great Ariel. Any thoughts?
