Of all the renditions I have heard, natasha richardson has been my favorite although she doesn't have the greatest voice. I'm sure if I heard Susan Egan or Rachel York, I'd love them too.
(UNOFFICIAL WINNER - LIZA with a Z!)
- Susan Egan, live on Bway (also on Musicality of K&E CD)
- Lisa Gabrielle-Green, local Dallas actress in "World Goes Round"
- Natasha Richardson
- Karen Mason (When the Sun Comes Out CD)
- Sally Ann Triplett (Anything Goes CD)
- Toni Collette (Connie & Carla CD)
- Deborah Gibson (Colored Lights CD)
- Lea Thompson (Cabaret tour, Dallas)
YIKES - How could I forget about Toni Collette's wonderful version?? Love it!!
PaigeByPaige, I also love Ute's rendition. Everything she does is so uniquely “Ute” that it's just hard to beat. I love performers who take big risks.
Susan Egan was devastating. So often the song is sung with no acting ability what so ever--it's a devastating song!
