Drew Lachey, from "Dancing with the Stars," has been cast as Corny Collins in the Pittsburgh CLO production of "Hairspray." The cast will also feature Paul Vogt (Broadway's "Hairspray") reprising his performance as Edna Turnblad, E. Clayton Cornelius ("A Chorus Line") as Seaweed, Kecia Lewis-Evans (Seattle Tryout of "Shrek") as Motormouth Maybelle and Ashley Spencer (Broadway's "Grease and "Hairspray") as Amber von Tussle. I like Drew alot, but I'm nto sure if I can picture him in this role even though it's not very big.

I love Paul Vogt, but can he not get another gig?

He is 100% not the right type for the role... that's so weird. But who knows, maybe he'll be good.

Well he certainly couldn't play Link...

I think he'll do a decent job of the role. I was pleasantly surprised by Lance Bass' turn as Corny Collins on Broadway a few years back, so who knows?

He is a wonderful guy and a wonderful performer. Glad he is working and singing!
