this needs to happen. I would love it, if curt Hansen reprised his la performance.

I want this as well. The Sebastian Arcelus/Stephanie J. Block recent casting for that concert would 100% suffice.

I think you all can guess how I feel about this.

If it ever does happen, I just hope they'd keep the song list of the original Broadway production rather than the Donmar production (although I do enjoy 'The Glory' )

i've got 99 problems and a revival of parade would solve like 94 of them

I love PARADE, but it's a tough sell. I saw the Donmar version at the Taper in LA a few years back. I also saw the original at the Vivian Beaumont. Loved them both, preferred the original. The Domar/Taper version ran the flag up the pole - nobody saluted. I don't think we'll see a revival anytime soon.

Saw a cracking version at the Southwark Playhouse in London a view years back, done on for next to nothing, stood up as the score is so strong, also the book is quite good, so given that, it would b an excellent vehicle to be done off Broadway, could see this done at encores though, which would be a shame.

I saw the Donmar production both in London and Los Angeles and wasn't a fan of either. It was such a cold production and I hated all the doubling which made the characters indistinguishable. I am frankly happy that production never came to Broadway, though I do think its a shame that stripped down version has become the only version of the production you can now license. They should at least give theaters the option of doing the larger, more operatic in scope original script and orchestrations.

Saw the closing performance at the Vivian Beaumont. Loved it. Can't see a revival being justified...kind of sad, but true. I really like the Donmar recording, too...but I didn't see that production. Oh...and by justified, I only meant profitable. If it were revived, I'd see it.

Even though the original production still flopped at a non-profit theatre organization (Lincoln Center), I wonder how a revival would do if Roundabout produced it.

I'd be the first in line for this, but Jason Robert Brown talked about Parade recently at an appearance.,,, He discussed how difficult it is to stage (huge predominantly white cast, a few prominent black men, big orchestra...) He said he knew right off it would be a hard one to stage, and it has been.

One can hope.....
