I bought 3 tickets to Hamilton on Broadway on November 19th through SeatGeek. We can no longer make it to the show.
The problem is, I am Canadian and SeatGeek will only let you sell if you have a US Bank account.
Does anyone know if there is any other way to sell tickets?
If you bought the tickets on SeatGeek, they are fully refundable. You do not need to resell them.
Ticketmaster is the official seller for Hamilton, not SeatGeek, so they're not refundable if purchased there.

That's not what's listed on their website.
"Since SeatGeek is a marketplace that lets fans of live events buy and sell tickets, we're unable to refund, cancel, or exchange tickets and we are not able to increase or decrease the amount of tickets ordered. The vendors that we list also have a general policy that all sales are final."
I'm assuming the tickets were sold on SeatGeek as a mobile transfer from Ticketmaster. If so, have they been transferred to you yet? I'm not sure if transferred tickets are able to be listed on Ticketmaster resale, but, at the very least, you should be able to list them on StubHub and transfer them again to another buyer.

No they haven't been transferred yet.
This is great news. Hopefully when I receive them, I'll be able to transfer they to Stub Hub. Only thing I'm concerned about if I'll be able to do this as a Canadian without a US bank account.
@Steph, sorry for the curve ball I sent you way. Obviously it didn't register that the original seller was not seatgeek (even though I know that when I have my brain switched on).

Hello @Steph and others, first please forgive me for "narc"ing this thread. I find myself in exactly the situation you were in, but with Funny Girl tickets, bought through SeatGeek, and I am a Canadian with no US bank account. Were you able to successfully sell your tickets? Possibly through transferring these to Ticketmaster for resale?

Hey @BroadwayCanuckGuy I was able to resell them on Ticketmaster but because they were US tickets the payment couldn't be transferred to my Canadian bank account. Ticketmaster had to pay me weeks later in the form of a cheque.

First, I would try getting a refund by filling out this form:
https://jujamcyn.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=8745744743707
If that isn't successful, you can list the tickets as a mobile transfer on StubHub, then you'd have to manually transfer them to the buyer from SeatGeeek when they sell.

A refund for Hamilton through Jujamcyn? I know SeatGeek is their official vendor but Jujamcyn has nothing to do with Hamilton tickets being resold through SeatGeek. I'm not sure that form would help unless it was Hadestown, ITW, Book of Mormon, Funny Girl, or Moulin Rouge

Thank you so much - @TaffyDavenport I have filled out that form explaining the situation. I would have had no idea it existed without your post. And @Steph36 I will try that technique of reselling on Ticketmaster if it doesn't work. (I have only ever used my Ticketmaster account for Canadian events, so I'm curious how/if that will work)

@bholtzinger544 regrets, that confusion is on me - I resurrected a thread originally about selling Hamilton tickets to ask about a similar situation regarding Funny Girl tix. Apologies.

In regard to Ticketmaster, the other posters were talking about Hamilton, not Funny Girl. Ticketmaster would not be the best route to go for you, StubHub would.

They are refunding my tickets. I am extremely grateful to you for suggesting this to me, and to the theatre for helping out.
And now that I found this community, I am excited to report back when I do get to Broadway and see the show another time..
You're welcome, glad it worked!
